THE HILL A WEBER FOOTBALL DOCUSERIES — DDP PRODUCTIONS
REEL 003 — CALL SHEET

WE NEED
MORE HANDS
ON THIS FILM.

This is an independent production following Weber High School Football through their 6A season, shot in real time. Directed by Dallin Bledsoe of DDP Productions, we're looking for crew who want real credit on a project built for a streamer pitch.

IMMEDIATE NEEDS

Gameday production crew — season starts soon.

These are the roles we need filled first, before the season kicks off. Collaborative, credited positions — see "How This Works" below for what that means.

IMMEDIATE NEED

Camera Operators

Multiple camera positions on game days, covering different angles alongside the DP.

  • Own camera/gear a plus, not required
  • Handheld or stationary, depending on the position
  • Available for game days through the season
IMMEDIATE NEED

Audio

Clean production audio for interviews and locker room access — good sound is what makes footage usable.

  • Boom or wireless lav experience
  • Available for select interview and access days
IMMEDIATE NEED

PAs

Entry point into documentary production — great for building a reel and getting real set experience.

  • Help manage gear, logistics, and schedules on shoot days
  • No experience required, strong work ethic required
ALSO BUILDING TOWARD

Longer-term roles we're filling this season.

HIGH PRIORITY

Producer

Help run the business side of the production while it's actively filming — logistics, scheduling, and release forms — while helping keep the pitch materials for streamers and distributors organized and on track. Access is already in place: Coach Cannon's cooperation, existing interview footage, and full season shooting rights — this is about packaging that into something that sells.

  • Coordinate shoot days with the coaching staff and program
  • Manage release forms and consent for players, families, and staff
  • Help organize pitch deck materials for streamer and festival submissions
  • Prior producing or production coordination experience preferred
HIGH PRIORITY

Director of Photography

Take over the visual side of production on game days and behind-the-scenes access days — framing, lighting, and camera movement, working closely with the director to build a cinematic, character-driven look. Not a standard sports-highlight style.

  • Own camera/gear a plus, but not required
  • Comfortable shooting handheld, vérité, run-and-gun
  • Available for weekly practices and weekend games through the season
  • Reel or past documentary/narrative work requested
HOW THIS WORKS
This is a real, credited production. Compensation and scope are discussed directly, based on the role, your experience, and availability — reach out and we'll figure out what makes sense.
